5 days in Albania
First day
The arrival at the new terminal Tirana International Airport “Mother Tereza” or at Durres Harbor. After the meeting with our tourist guide, you go on with your trip toward Tirana, Capital city of Albania.

Second day
After having breakfast in the hotel you are ready to start your journey toward Kruja city, an important historic centre. It is connected with the resistance of our nation against ottomans under the leadership of Scanderbeg. This resistance did not allow the ottomans to cross The Adriatic Sea.
A visit in Kruja Castle, walking down the Medieval Bazaar, where you can find and buy lots of artisan objects.
- After the lunch, your journey continues toward the 3000years old city of Durres.
- A visit in the Archeological Museum.
- A visit in the amphitheatre (the only one in Albania for gladiators fighting.)
- The Cap of the Amphitheatre, with a parietal mosaic.
- The Bizantic Wall.
- The Venetian Castle.
Dinner, live music and sleep in Durres or Tirana.
Third day
After having breakfast in the hotel you start your journey toward Berat City (2004 years old).
- A visit in Berati Castle. As you walk through the roads and as you see the stone houses, the churches and mosques it seems to you as the time stops.
- A visit in Saint Maria church, now “Onufri” Museum. It is given the name of a great painter, who has painted the walls of the churches as The Holy Trinity”, “Saint Thomas” etc.
- A visit in the water tank of the old city.
- A visit in the mosques of the castle.
After leaving Berat you continue your journey toward the monastery of the Saint Maria in Ardenica.
- A visit in Saint Maria church (13thC) that is known for its marvelous aphresques.
After having lunch in Ardenica your journey continues in the Antique city of Apolonia.
- A visit in the Antique city, amphitheatre, in the library’s ruins, and the city’s Acropolis.
- A visit in the Archeological Museum which is in a 13thC Monastery.
Return to Tirana
Dinner and sleep in Tirana.
Fourth day
After having breakfast, you will spend a whole day in Tirana.
A visit in the National Historic Museum.
- A visit in the Center Square of Tirana “Scanderbeg”, where you will see the statue of our national hero Gjergj Kastrioti. There you can find the Classical Buildings of 1930, which are residences of the Ministries and City Council. Also you will see “Sahati” Tower which is 35m high and the “Ethem Beu” Mosque.
- A visit in the Palo Christian church of the third century.
- You will have a lunch in Dajti Mountain. It is (1612m) high and there you will go by a telpher.
- You will enjoy the Panorama of the city and the beauty of Dajti’s Park.
- In the afternoon you will have a walk in the main avenues of Tirana.
A coffee at “Rinia” Park in the centre of the city.
Dinner and sleep in Tirana.
Fifth day
After having the breakfast in the hotel a short visit in the city (shopping souvenir) and after that you go directly in the “Rinas” airport or Durres Harbor.
